Now carried by fourth-generation Wheeler Emily Wheeler, A.M. Tech Plaques creates custom U.S.-made bronze and aluminum plaques along with architectural lettering for memorials, historic sites, and civic recognition. Its roots reach back to the Wheeler Brothers Brass Foundry, a family business founded in 1904 that once produced military components, locomotive alloys, and even bronze parts for the Apollo 15 Moon Rover. Although the original Troy foundry closed in the 1980s, the Wheeler family continues to oversee plaque design and production through a trusted U.S. foundry, including more than 100 specially approved San Diego historical plaques.
