Actasys Inc. develops compact, software-driven cooling systems for high-density data-center servers, using targeted air jets to manage heat around network cards, data-processing units and switches. Its ActaJet™ technology is designed for 1U and 2U racks, combining a profile under 3 millimeters with power use of just 2–3 watts. The Brooklyn company also applies its small-form cooling actuators to communication-network hardware and printed circuit boards.
