AIM GmbH grew out of a 1989 Freiburg venture founded by four former LITEF engineers, whose work for the Eurofighter project led to the world’s first STANAG3910 test equipment. Today, the company designs and manufactures avionics test and simulation modules for aerospace and defense customers, with its main design and manufacturing facilities still based in Freiburg and support offices in Germany, the UK and the USA. Its procedures are certified to ISO 9001:2015 and aligned with AS9100 Rev. D and EN9100:2018.
