Founded in Cambridge, Ohio, in 1952, AMG Vanadium recycles spent refinery catalyst and other vanadium-bearing residues into ferrovanadium and related specialty alloys. Its proprietary V-CYCLE® roasting and melting process converts more than 99% of these materials into saleable metals, while a $300 million Zanesville expansion completed in 2022 doubled the company’s processing and reclamation capacity. A subsidiary of AMG Critical Materials N.V., AMG Vanadium operates under ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 certifications and produces ferrovanadium with a reported carbon footprint five times smaller than material made from mined vanadium ore.
