Born from JR Manufacturing’s 1998 start making citronella buckets, AMS Seat Structures now manufactures automotive headrests, seat frames, and other formed wire and tube components. The company employs approximately 500 people across Ohio, Tennessee, and Mexico, with in-house prototyping and tooling supporting parts that are difficult to produce elsewhere. After a 2023 fire destroyed its more than 75,000-square-foot corporate facility, the team restarted production without disrupting customers and reemerged as AMS Seat Structures following Angstrom’s 2025 acquisition.
