Co-founded in 2012 by Gabriel Hendifar and Jeremy Anderson, Apparatus is a New York-based interdisciplinary design studio that makes lighting, furniture and objects for immersive interiors. Each piece is developed through the studio’s dedicated Brooklyn factory, where hand-patinated brass and other tactile materials meet small-studio craftsmanship. Under artistic director and CEO Hendifar, the company operates galleries in New York, Los Angeles and London while maintaining a distinct balance between mechanized production and the human hand.
