InnovBot LLCOriginating in the CUNY Robotics Lab, InnovBot LLC develops wall-climbing robots and provides robotic inspection and maintenance services for infrastructure and renewable-energy assets. Its systems combine vertical mobility with AI, digital-twin modeling, and nondestructive inspection data to examine hard-to-reach areas while reducing hazardous work. The company’s research has received National Science Foundation SBIR support, including a $866,830 Phase II grant, and its Wind-Rider robot was developed with CCNY through a FuzeHub manufacturing grant.YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, NY
Gecko Robotics, IncFounded in Pittsburgh in 2013 by Jake Loosararian and Troy Demmer, Gecko Robotics develops robotic and AI-based technology for inspecting and managing critical infrastructure. Its robots collect high-fidelity asset data, which its Cantilever platform combines with AI analysis to support infrastructure construction, maintenance, and modernization. The company is headquartered in Pittsburgh and also lists offices in Houston, Boston, New York City, Washington, D.C., and Abu Dhabi.PITTSBURGH, PA
International Climbing MachinesFounded in April 2001 as a focused research-and-development effort, Ithaca-based International Climbing Machines builds small, remote-controlled robots for inspecting and maintaining vertical, inverted and underwater surfaces. Its suction-held climbers can traverse obstacles such as bolt heads, weld seams and uneven contours while carrying inspection or maintenance tools, keeping operators on the ground during hazardous work. ICM also developed a magnetically held robot for cleaning and inspecting boiler tube walls in power plants.ITHACA, NY
Manifold RoboticsBased at New Lab in Brooklyn’s Navy Yard, Manifold Robotics develops commercial drone technology, including the EM/Nav payload for transmission-line inspections and shielded operations. A team of engineers and drone specialists, the company designs and builds its systems in the United States to make long-range drone work safer and simpler, including beyond-visual-line-of-sight operations supported by transmission-line electromagnetic fields.BROOKLYN, NY
