After 24 years flying for the U.S. Air Force, retired Colonel Jeff Smith now creates fine-art landscape photographs that celebrate Ohio, the Midwest and the quiet drama of sunset and twilight. From his Miami Valley base, Art of Frozen Time produces place-based prints for homes, offices and healthcare spaces, where its evidence-based design work has placed 460 prints across 40 regional healthcare locations as of July 2025. Smith also provides custom sizing, room visualization, installation and FAA-certified drone photography, and one of his images was selected for the U.S. Postal Service’s Mighty Mississippi stamp series.
