Astrion is the Huntsville-based company formed in 2023 when ERC and Oasis Systems joined forces, later adding Axient in 2024. The resulting organization has more than 6,000 employees serving defense and federal government customers across the United States and overseas, drawing on legacy expertise built over decades—including ERC’s founding in 1988 by aeronautical engineer Dr. Y.C.L. Susan Wu. Astrion applies that combined experience to complex national-security and space missions.
