Founded in Cleveland in 1937 by German toolmaker Ernest Mehwald, Atlantic Tool & Die Co. has grown from a small tool-and-die shop into an international manufacturer of precision metal stampings, tooling, welded assemblies, and tubular products. The Mehwald family’s business now operates six manufacturing locations totaling more than 500,000 square feet, supported by an engineering office in Costa Rica and a workforce of over 750 associates. Atlantic serves automotive and other industrial customers through a shared quality system, with all facilities independently IATF 16949:2016 certified.
