Founded in 2003 by a California-born electronic engineer, Baker Electronix designed and manufactured custom PCB and microcontroller-based electronic modules for automotive enthusiasts. The company operated from West Virginia for its first seven years before moving to Texas, developing specialized solutions such as a DeLorean dual-fan controller and GM VATS bypass modules. Baker Electronix closed in May 2018 after 15 years in business, while continuing technical support and reprogramming services for customers until August 2022.
