Founded in 1994 by retired Air Force fighter pilot Phil Dismukes, BGI, LLC is a service-disabled veteran-owned business shaped by firsthand combat and aviation experience. The Akron company has grown from a small group of aviators into a defense technology organization of nearly 400 personnel, with more than three-quarters of its team drawn from active or former military ranks. BGI applies that operational perspective to military training and defense programs, keeping the warfighter’s needs at the center of its work.
