Founded in 1947 by brothers Bill and Jack Kelly, Bil-Jac makes dog food and treats from its family-run, family-owned business. The Ohio company became known for challenging conventional pet-food methods, first with a patented meat-first frozen recipe and later with Nutri-Lock slow cooking that uses fresh chicken and gently protects key nutrients. Bil-Jac continues that family nutritional legacy across its dry and frozen foods, while its America’s VetDogs treats have helped raise more than $2.75 million for service dogs for military heroes and first responders with disabilities.
