Founded in Dayton in 1959, BIMAC Precision Castings makes complex metal components through investment lost-wax and ceramic-mold casting. One of the few U.S. foundries with the Shaw ceramic-mold process, BIMAC produces castings from ounces to more than 300 pounds and develops proprietary wear-resistant alloys for demanding machinery applications. Its 35,000-square-foot facility supports medium-run work as well as urgent replacement parts, including pump components produced through rapid prototyping.
