Founded by designer and fabricator Blaise Goldman, Blaise Metalworks is a small Philadelphia studio shaped by more than a decade of behind-the-scenes work for designers, artists, and manufacturers. Goldman works directly with architects, designers, businesses, and private clients to turn individual concepts into thoughtfully built architectural pieces and furniture. His approach draws on traditional craft, Japanese making philosophy, industrial design, and an abiding interest in how mechanical objects are made.

Owner Mark Lagergren brings a B.F.A. from the Columbus College of Art and Design together with more than 20 years of fabrication experience, giving the team an unusual blend of design training and hands-on metalworking.
