About

Founded by Jason Crook in 2015 with a single colony, Bohemia Apiary is an Eastern Shore of Maryland beekeeping operation producing locally harvested raw honey while caring for and supplying honey bee colonies. Its unconventional, community-centered approach combines traditional apiculture with modern practices focused on bee health and pollinator ecosystems. The apiary also supports fellow beekeepers through swarm recovery, honey extraction and bottling, education, and small-scale pollination services.
