BrightWave LLCFounded in Maryland in 2019, BrightWave builds internally illuminated algae photobioreactors that scale from benchtop research to 40,000-liter industrial production. Developed with the University of Maryland and the Institute of Marine and Environmental Technology, its enclosed systems use in-water lighting and automated control to grow algae consistently, including at a wastewater-to-sustainable-aviation-fuel deployment in the United Kingdom.
