Born more than 20 years ago as a development lab for plasma-polymerized coatings, Brighton Science makes surface-measurement instruments and connected software that help manufacturers understand whether materials are ready to bond, coat, or seal. Founded by chief scientist Dr. Giles Dillingham, the company developed the Surface Analyst, a handheld contact-angle device used in adhesive-bonding development for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter program. Today, Brighton Science combines surface-science consulting with tools such as BConnect to diagnose adhesion failures and bring measurable control to production.
