Byer Steel is a Cincinnati rebar mill, fabricator, and industrial scrap recycler whose family business began in 1937. The fourth-generation-owned company makes rebar by reheating and rerolling retired train axles, and it has operated its original mill since 1970. Today, Byer Steel is woman-owned and focuses on rebar production and fabrication alongside commercial scrap recycling.
