Founded in 1971 after solving a flat wheelbarrow-tire problem, Carlisle TyrFil manufactures polyurethane tire-fill and productivity technologies for off-the-road equipment. The Berea-based Carlisle brand has processed more than one billion pounds of material over five decades and serves customers in more than 65 countries. Its flatproofing replaces air with a flexible elastomer core, combining flat-free operation with a smoother ride than solid tires, while its patented closed-loop system incorporates recycled tire fill.
