Founded in 1975 by Elaine and Donna Koretsky, Carriage House Paper is a Brooklyn hand-papermaking studio that makes handmade paper and supplies papermakers with the equipment and materials to make their own. Its fully equipped facility also hosts small workshops, private instruction, studio rentals, and artist collaborations. The company’s work is closely tied to the Koretskys’ international research into traditional papermaking, including the International Paper Museum directed by Donna.

Kraft Paper StudioFounded by Delbert Kime in 2019, Brooklyn-based Kraft Paper Studio produces custom-printed kraft paper packaging and related paper goods for businesses across the United States. Moontree LetterpressAlong the Delaware River in Bucks County, Moontree Letterpress is an independent printshop where designer and printer Rebecca Kutys hand-prints personalized stationery and other paper goods on antique presses. For over 20 years, the studio has also collaborated with artists, museums, and institutions on special projects that explore the possibilities of letterpress. Its paper-casting work gives cotton-paper scraps a second life as tactile reliefs made with traditional wooden molds.
