Founded in 1946 by engineers who worked with jet-engine pioneer Sir Frank Whittle, Centrax designs, manufactures and services Siemens Energy gas-turbine generator packages from its Newton Abbot base. Its systems produce 3 to 15 MW for combined heat and power, standby and grid-support applications, while the company provides a full service from engineering and assembly through maintenance and overhaul. Centrax has installed more than 400 units across 30 countries and employs over 250 people, with ISO-certified quality, environmental and workplace-safety systems.
