Since 1886, Channellock, Inc. has forged professional hand tools in Meadville, Pennsylvania, with its identity built around American-made pliers. Still run by the fifth generation of the DeArment family, the company operates 260,000 square feet of manufacturing facilities with more than 350 associates and produces over 75 types and sizes of pliers. Its tongue-and-groove pliers, first developed in 1933, remain the signature of a company that continues to manufacture much of its line on U.S. soil.
