Since 1911, family-run Charles A. Hones, Inc. has designed and manufactured industrial gas burners, heat-treating furnaces, and metal-melting equipment in the United States. Now six generations strong, the Hones family builds its equipment at a 12,500-square-foot New York plant, including custom burners and modified furnaces made to fit unusual heating requirements. The company began in a Brooklyn storeroom making soldering furnaces and later grew into a specialist serving metalworking, foundry, artistic, and commercial heating applications.
