Founded in 2009 by former New York State Conservation Police Chief Bob and his wife Michelle, Chautauqua Hydroseeding LLC restores and establishes lawns while handling the grading and erosion-control work around them. The Bemus Point company has grown from one small hydroseeder and trailer to a broader site-services operation serving southwestern New York and northwestern Pennsylvania. It also manufactures patented Re-Tire weed-control mats from recycled waste tires, offering a way to reduce landfill waste while limiting herbicide use.
