Established in 1854 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, Chris Erhart Foundry and Machine Co. is a family-owned metalcaster that moved to Cincinnati in 1874 and is among the oldest ongoing family-owned metalcasters in the United States. It makes low- and medium-volume gray and ductile iron castings, specializing in jobbing and semi-production work for short runs, repair parts, and prototypes.
