Since Italian pastry chef Clement Maggia founded it in 1928, Clement’s Pastry Shop has grown from a Washington, D.C., neighborhood shop into a Hyattsville bakery manufacturing pastries and desserts for the wholesale food industry. Still family-owned across five generations, the company serves customers throughout the Mid-Atlantic while also developing private-label desserts for national partners. Its menu spans more than 200 products, and the bakery is annually certified through the Safe Quality Food program.
