Cleveland Gear Company has made worm gearing and enclosed gear drives in Cleveland, Ohio, for more than a century. Founded in 1912 and still operating from its 150,000-square-foot manufacturing home established in 1928, the company was the first U.S. manufacturer to produce worm gearing for mass production. Its work now spans open gearing, custom drives and refurbishment services, with ISO 9001:2015 certification supporting its industrial power-transmission operations.
