Columbus Machine Works is a Central Ohio machine shop founded by Mike Stacey in 1997, combining traditional shop-floor know-how with modern CNC manufacturing to make, repair and rebuild parts and equipment. The company grew from one antique lathe, one milling machine and one employee into a full-service operation serving customers for nearly three decades, including a distinctive specialty rebuilding M1 Garand op-rods and restoring related firearm components. Mike’s long-standing interest in historic machinery also led to the design and manufacture of the M.A.D.E. Ornamental Turning Lathe and the Lindow Rose Engine.
