Founded in 1952 by Clarence Smith Sr., Columbiana, Ohio’s Compco manufactures tank heads and deep-drawn metal components for pressure vessels and other demanding applications. The family-owned company has grown from its early pipe-hanger work into a 250,000-square-foot operation with in-house tooling, engineering, and production services.
