The Country French Collection is recognized throughout the Northeast for its superb collection of 18th and 19th century English and Country French antiques and reproductions.
Frank B. RhodesSince 1983, Frank B. Rhodes has made and restored traditional American furniture in Chestertown, pairing reproduction work with careful conservation of historic pieces. Rhodes’s approach was shaped by summers immersed in the early American collection of his grandparents, Col. Edgar William and Bernice Chrysler Garbisch, whose 2,600-piece collection is now held in part by the National Gallery of Art. The shop also takes on unusual objects, from tall-case clocks to carousel horses, while preserving original materials and finishes whenever possible.CHESTERTOWN, MD
