Founded in 1959 by John “Jack” Buyers, County Line Stone is a third-generation, family-owned and operated limestone quarry serving Western New York with aggregate and hot-mix asphalt. The Akron quarry remains a family-run business led by Jack’s grandsons, Mike and Brad Buyers, and employs more than 30 full-time workers. Its materials are approved for NYSDOT use and serve markets from Buffalo to Rochester.
