Founded in 1980 by Arthur August, a 25-year Grumman veteran, CPI Aerostructures has grown from a technical consulting firm into a publicly traded aerospace manufacturer. Its nearly 300 employees work from a 171,000-square-foot Edgewood facility supporting U.S. military and commercial aircraft programs, with a notable record of delivering more than 6,000 UH-60M Black Hawk gunner-window assemblies to Sikorsky since 2010.
