Crawford Manufacturing grew from J.D. Miller’s Ohio small-engine repair shop, where frustration with poor aftermarket springs led him to begin making his own parts. Since 2010, ownership has passed to his son Dan, daughter-in-law Martha, and granddaughter Mary, who continue the family business in Baltic with J.D. still serving as a consultant. Founded in 1965, Crawford now supports manufacturers with high-volume wire forms and springs, along with related production and assembly work.
