Founded in Berwick, Pennsylvania, in 1905 after Clarence Crispin patented an air valve to protect water lines from vacuum collapse, Crispin Valve now manufactures valves for municipal water systems and industrial applications. Still family-owned and American made, the fourth-generation company has produced air valves longer than any other manufacturer and now makes valve designs in sizes from ½ to 168 inches.
