Started in a local library makerspace, Custom by Laser creates custom laser-engraved gifts and products for weddings, parties, birthdays and other personal occasions. Founders Libby and Christian Bongard began the business in 2020 after making items for their own wedding and friends, and it has since grown into a maker team operating eight lasers. The company also takes on large laser projects and bulk orders, pairing design help with in-house production.
