What began more than 30 years ago as a six-person machine shop has grown into D-J Engineering, an aerospace manufacturer of complex parts, flight structures and large assemblies across more than 300 employees and three campuses. Based in Augusta, Kansas, the company is known for taking on emergent, legacy and low-volume projects that require new manufacturing processes, including machining parts up to 60 feet long and producing custom aluminum extrusions in-house. D-J Engineering holds AS9100D and multiple Nadcap accreditations, including for heat treatment, welding, composites and nondestructive testing.
