Founded in Pittsburgh in 1883 as a commercial printer, Dawar Technologies now designs and manufactures custom projected-capacitive and resistive touch-screen solutions and integrated display systems. Its evolution from screen printing and membrane switches into touch technology is reflected in its in-house engineering, cleanroom manufacturing and touch-tuning capabilities. Dawar has been owned by a group of local investors, including members of management, since 1998, with manufacturing and design operations in Pittsburgh and Asia.
