Its Berea operation developed drilled components for the first U.S. Navy nuclear submarines and now builds proprietary equipment in-house for difficult internal machining work. Dearborn is AS9100- and ISO 9001-certified and routinely holds gundrilling variation below .002 inches over bore lengths up to 32 feet.
