Founded by Don and Sally Rains in 1982, Don’s Meat Shop is a family-owned Hixson butcher shop making hand-cut meats and house-made sausages for Chattanooga-area cooks. Today, Donnie and Will Rains work side by side behind the counter, carrying three generations of family skill into custom cuts, fresh in-house grinds, and the specialty meats that set the shop apart from a grocery store.
