Founded in Thunder Bay in 1994 by Nino Bruno and his son Donato, Donato’s Bakery carries a Calabrian family tradition into pizzas, breads, sweets, prepared dishes and its house marinara sauce. The Bruno brothers continue that work with three ovens capable of baking 30 pizzas or more than 100 traditional Italian loaves at once. The bakery also serves local organizations and events, while supplying its marinara sauce to grocery stores.
