Founded by J.M. Norris in 1960, Dura-Bond Industries grew from a Western Pennsylvania corrosion-protection business into a family-built manufacturer with operations in Export, Duquesne, Steelton and McKeesport. It manufactures steel line pipe and fabricates structural steel, while its Pennsylvania plants also apply protective coatings to pipe and steel products. Its history includes the acquisition of the former Bethlehem Steel pipe plant in Steelton and the launch of ERW pipe production in McKeesport.
