From a start in a rural Indiana bank basement, Eaton Compressor has grown since 1977 into a 60,000-square-foot facility near Dayton that manufactures air compressors in the USA. The Cain family remains involved, with Marvin Cain’s son Matt serving as CEO, while the company develops quieter and more energy-conscious systems such as its patented Silent Air and Smart Air technologies. Eaton also supports its equipment with in-house engineering, technical service and a nationwide service-center network.
