After seeing guests with disabilities struggle to remain in the water while working at Wyandot Lake near Columbus, Ohio, inventor and president Keith Chlapaty created EdgeMate Pool Chair, a portable in-pool seat for comfortable shallow-water relaxation. The lightweight chair hangs on the edge of compatible in-ground pools without installation, folds flat for storage, and is intended for adult swimmers of all abilities. EdgeMate also supplies pool builders and resorts with packaged seating and optional custom branding.
