Established at the end of World War II, Electronic Machine Parts designs and manufactures motion-control and registration systems for printing, packaging, labeling and other industrial machinery. The Hauppauge company grew from Federal Machine Works’ wartime defense-parts operation and has remained focused on registration control since the 1950s, shipping its systems internationally by the early 1960s. EMP also rebuilds older equipment and continues repairing some systems that have been in the field for more than 60 years.
