Hungarian seamstress Erika Szente has devoted more than 40 years to the craft, beginning as a hatmaker in New York City in 1991, and now works alongside her daughter Sara Rose in the woman-owned family business. The studio serves both homeowners and interior designers, carrying European drapery traditions into carefully measured, fabricated, and installed pieces.
