From a home-based operation to a brick-and-mortar studio in Nyack, ES Home Textile Studio creates custom, handmade textiles for residential interiors. Hungarian seamstress Erika Szente has devoted more than 40 years to the craft, beginning as a hatmaker in New York City in 1991, and now works alongside her daughter Sara Rose in the woman-owned family business. The studio serves both homeowners and interior designers, carrying European drapery traditions into carefully measured, fabricated, and installed pieces.
