Her work draws on old-world techniques—especially classic copperplate—and extends to live calligraphy, engraving and hot foiling for events and brand activations. Cooper began teaching herself copperplate in 2004 while making her own wedding invitations and has provided her services professionally since 2016; she also holds a long-term contract to hand-calligraph official United States Department of State documents requiring the Great Seal.
