Since 1983, Family Farm Quilts has connected its Lancaster County store with more than 200 Amish and Mennonite women who piece, appliqué, and hand-quilt quilts and wall hangings. The Lapp family still owns and operates the business, with Ann Lapp directing the process by choosing the patterns, colors, and fabrics from the family’s former Amish-Mennonite home farm.

Its 61,000-square-foot showroom grew from those small beginnings while the business kept its focus on detailed construction, locally sourced hardwoods, and pieces designed to be passed down through generations.
