FAR Associates develops and manufactures SpectroPyrometers for non-contact temperature measurement in difficult industrial and research environments. Founded as a consulting company in 1987 and incorporated in Ohio in 1993, FAR used years of on-site process work to create its patented expert-system, multi-wavelength instruments, including the first SpectroPyrometer placed in 1997. The company also provides on-site measurement analysis, emissivity evaluation, and NIST-traceable calibration.
