Founded in 1865, Finch Paper makes uncoated printing, converting and specialty papers at its long-running mill in Glens Falls, New York. The privately held American manufacturer employs approximately 600 people and operates an unusually broad paper platform from one facility, including four paper machines, on-site sheeting and a cogeneration power plant. Finch’s 160-year history is closely tied to environmental stewardship, with two-thirds of its mill energy generated on site from renewable hydropower and biomass.
